This economy crate is tightly packed full of premium kiln dried Oak. The neat stacking ensures the equivalent volume of approximately 1.5 large builders bags of logs. If you use your log burner mostly during evenings and weekends, this is perfect and it will see you through the winter.
Oak is an exceptional wood to burn due to being very dense and hard. This in turn means that it burns very slowly, even slower than Ash. It is not as well known in the UK as other similar wood species such as oak and beech, but it is a real top-quality firewood.
